Please explain in details what is the Sutanta Tipitaka?

The Sutta Pitaka, the second division of the Tipitaka,
consists of more than 10,000 suttas (discourses) delivered by the Buddha and his close disciples during and
shortly after the Buddha's forty-five year teaching
career, as well as many additional verses by other members of the Sangha. The suttas are grouped into five nikayas, or collections:
A.
Dīgha-nikāya:
The collection of Long Discourses.
B.
Majjhima-nikāya: The collection of Middle Length Discourses.
C.
Samyutta-nikāya: The collection of Connected
Discourses.
D.
Anguttara-nikāya: The collection of Numerical Discourses.
E.
Khuddaka-nikāya:
The collection of Numerical Discourses.
Dīgha Nikāya
•
The Collection of Long Discourses consists of 34 suttas arranged
in three vaggas. Sīlakkhandha-vagga: The Division
Concerning Morality (13 suttas) List of moral rules.3 stages training for
monks; sīla, smādhi, paññā.
Mahā-vagga: The Large Division (10 suttas)
Most suttas in this vagga are legends, e.g. the Mahāparinibbāna sutta,
Mahāsudassana sutta, the Janavasabha sutta. Pātika-vagga:
The Pāti,ka Division (11 suttas). The
Suttas in this section discuss the doctrinal beliefs and the explanation of the
origin and development of the universe, etc.
Majjhima Nikāya
The collection of Middle Length Discourses. 152 suttas are
divided into 3 parts called the set of fifty (pan,n,āsa). Each
pan,n,āsa contains five divisions (vagga).

Uparipan,nāsa
Samyutta Nikāya
The collection of Connected Discourses. It is divided into 5
vaggas, which again are subdivided into 50 ‘Samyuttas’. Total
suttas are 7762.

Sagātha-vagga: contains 11 samyuttas
II.
Nidāna-vagga: contains 10 samyuttas
III.
Khandha-vagga: contains 13 samyuttas
IV.
Sal,āyatana-vagga: contains 10 samyuttas
V.
Mahā-vagga: contains 12 samyuttas
Anguttara-nikāya
The collection of Numerical Discourses. 11 chapters or
nipāta contains suttas dealing with subjects in some way connected with the number
of the section.
