What advancement of social structure does Ayutthaya have?

Social structure
is a systematical way of the society and that’s the thing that man should
follow and if we are out of that systematical way of life then we will be in
trouble. And that’s why we have to learn the social structure. When we interact
with people or society or environment we must follow a certain form of conduct,
or certain principle of that society because we belong to it.
Every single man
has his own role to play in certain society, in our day today life we have our
own position and status to stand with. We must know the different structure of
our society, and knowing is not enough, we have to put them into practice with
our daily life society.
From the lecture
given by the school director on the role of Wat Yai Chaimongkol School within
local context covering the topics like the curriculum development, Buddhism
education/project, community participation, social unity, government subsidy
and support from Wat Yai Chaimongkol, and also got an introduction to various
issues concerning Thai youth such as game addiction, domestic violence, social
discrimination etc
I got to
understand that schools in ayutthaya province are playing a very important role
of the society, such as:
·
The government
wants the young students to learn the ways of living through five precepts.
·
Students are not
only taught how to live in the society as a good Buddhist but also helps them
to experience the peaceful ways of life through practice.
·
The rich men’s
roles that were played earlier have been changed into school system and social
system.
·
Schools are
caring about the students need.
·
There is no
individual power but emphasize on social power.
·
Parents have
their own role to play with the children as true parents and the children also
have their particular roles to play obediently.
·
There is a big economic problem in the
ayuthaya province, so parents have to find a way to feed their children.
·
Parents have to find
a way to solve the children’s problem.
·
Rich people must
support the school without consuming the properties individually.
·
From the young
age, Students are thought how to live together like brother and sister in the
school.
·
Schools teach
the traditional things. Such as music, dance, arts, and etc.
·
From very young
age student are thought to homage and respect the Buddha’s statues following
the traditions.
·
And the schools
teach according to five Buddhist precepts (PaJcasila).
·
Which shows that
when these five precepts are performed and practiced we surely will have no
problem within us.
People are satisfied
with whatever earning they have. Ayuthaya is a good society which unifies
without concerning who is rich or who is poor.
So as schools are playing the great part of social
structure, I believe that ayuthaya people will be very good, easy going,
friendly, helpful to others, an understandable person, if they follow their own
particular roles in the society they will surely be an exemplary person to
others. People don’t need to tell us what our role is. We must think and get adjusted
to it intrinsically following the five precepts.
